The set of worksheets provided (to the right) with answers following immediately after each is organized so that students progress naturally through the areas of study. This full "course" addresses many of the topics in Algebra 1/Algebra 2 in the U.S. and Grade 10 Mathematics in Canada. They have been field-tested and the answers are all correct. A priceless resource for teachers and students alike! Practice tests are also provided. These were written for good students, but the questions are accessible and not intended to be tricky.
The Canadian Mathematics Competitions consist of annual contests sponsored by the University of Waterloo for students in Middle School and higher. In fact, many elementary aged students can use these resources as well. Many people have contributed to the writing of these problems, including myself. They are written by over 100 000 students each year in Canada. The following link allows free access to both the contests and the full solutions, making it a great resource for both students and teachers. No password is required. These are problem sets, with answers, which I have created for able middle school students.
The Probability and Statistics section is designed for able Middle School aged students. Some of them refer to using a TI83 or 84 calculator to support the learning. Contact me if you need more activities at questions@jackmathsolutions.com
